Angelo Gordon is looking to hire an Analyst for its Global Investor Relations team in New York. This role will sit within the Client Service team but also play a big part in supporting the group’s Product Specialists. The role will take a hybrid approach based on workload balance between the two groups. The role will report to the Head of Client Service.

Responsibilities include:
  • Assist in development of product information collateral and content for use across distribution efforts
  • Utilize quantitative analysis to organize and present data for presentation purposes
  • Interact with investment professionals and product specialists regularly to track recent developments, portfolio performance, and fundraising progress / plans
  • Respond to investor inquiries and data requests from all investor types
  • Complete RFPs/ RFIs and assist in managing the RFP database
  • Fund reporting, capital calls, distributions, account statements,
  • Interface with third party administrator
  • Interface with clients on a variety of administrative related matters such as general inquiries, audit confirmations and account summaries
  • Variety of special projects related to fund raising, market intelligence, and other related topics
Requirements include:
  • Minimum 2 – 3 years of relevant experience
  • Bachelors degree, Accounting preferred
  • Ability to multi‐task and support product specialists and the entire Client Service function; strong time management skills, ability to prioritize tasks at hand and strong attention to detail
  • Keen interest in investment strategies; while prior financial experience is not essential, it is preferred
  • Focus is on quantitative skillset but strong writing and oral presentation skills are a plus
  • Self‐starter, can take initiative to find and interpret relevant market data
  • Experience working with CRM database systems; experience with Salesforce a plus
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction
  • Team player, flexible and cooperative attitude; strong interpersonal skills
  • Must be motivated, self‐directed and proactive
  • Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
  • Strong sense of professionalism and work ethic
  • Excellent computer skills required MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, focus on Excel skills
