We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Business Planning & Analysis Associate to join our Community Banking Group. This role is located in New York, NY - HYBRID.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Support the overall business development program management
  • Help drive accountability across the organization by leading execution-oriented processes, including facilitating cross-functional meetings and drafting executive level reporting.
  • Analyze current and emerging opportunities across the bank and recommend new opportunities for Community Banking Group
  • Help with the overall project and program management for complex cross-functional community banking priorities
  • Drive business growth by conducting market research and supporting client executives’ client engagements

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

  • Strong communicating, influencing, interpersonal and relationship-building skills; must be comfortable interacting with all levels of the organization
  • Ability to create powerful presentations which deliver complex topics in easily understood formats
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage quantitative and qualitative research to inform complex decision making
  • Outstanding organizational skills and ability to balance multiple and changing priorities
  • 2-5 years of total work experience preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience is required; PMP certification or equivalent experience preferred

BNY Mellon assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $53,000 and $105,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNYM total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.
This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
