KKR is seeking an Associate/Analyst for its Client and Partner Group (“CPG”) team in the New York office. The CPG team is responsible for developing products and raising capital for KKR’s expanding investment management platform, and this role would specifically be within the Credit Strategies Team, the firm’s product specialist group focused on our Credit platform. The position has five main functions – (i) Fundraising, (ii) Business Development, (iii) Negotiating with Clients, (iv) Marketing and (v) Investor Relations.

As of June 30, 2020, KKR Credit manages over $72 Billion of AUM with offices in 9 cities and 8 countries with roughly 130 dedicated investment professionals. Learn more here:


A successful candidate typically will have 1-3 years of relevant experience.


  • Partner with senior team members on raising, marketing and structuring funds
  • Maintain an open dialogue with investors, and provide ongoing LP support
  • Work closely with investment professionals and deal teams to understand the current portfolio, deal pipeline, and overall market dynamics
  • Create and update marketing materials, quarterly presentations, and draft investor letters
  • Participate in live fundraising for credit products
  • Heavily involved in the diligence process


  • Aptitude for critical and creative thinking across the quantitative and qualitative spectrum
  • Quick learner with clear intellectual curiosity and self-motivation
  • Team-oriented
  • Interest in broader fundraising and product development
  • Proven ability to manage demands of multiple teams and projects in a fast-paced work environment, including ability to prioritize time efficiently and handle heavy workloads while remaining attentive to detail
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills, including the ability to read information/situations from varying perspectives and tailor messages to suit different audiences
  • Meticulous organization skills with an emphasis on attention to detail
  • Technical and aesthetic mastery of PowerPoint and Excel
  • Content driven with the ability to communicate complex topics to a wide range of audiences
  • Maturity, presence, sound judgment, and ability to form and express opinions effectively to cross-divisional teams including senior management
  • Strong relationship development skills, including over the phone with global teams and with individuals of whom work is being requested
