About the opportunity:

DCG is looking to hire a Fundamental Analyst to perform research for its active investment strategies in the public markets.  This is an opportunity to have a significant impact early in your career, as you will be joining a small but growing investment team on the ground floor to help shape their strategy and process.  In this role you will be responsible for helping generate ideas and executing upon them via a systematic and disciplined research and investment process.  The ideal candidate will be able to work independently to form an in-depth understanding of key industry and company-specific drivers, build and maintain detailed financial models, and perform all relevant valuation techniques and analyses in support of their investment recommendations.

 

What you’ll be responsible for:

  • Developing a deep understanding of key industry trends impacting publicly traded Cryptocurrency and FinTech companies
  • Performing deep dive, bottom-up fundamental research on publicly traded companies to produce high conviction investment ideas
  • Developing a network of sell-side and corporate contacts
  • Supporting and contributing to all aspects of public market portfolio management, risk management, and implementation strategies

 

What you’ll bring:

  • 2-5 years of experience producing bottom-up, fundamental research in a public markets facing role
  • Bachelor’s Degree and/or Master’s Degree
  • Strong track record of advancement/attainment in both academic and professional environments.
  • Exceptional conceptual, quantitative, and analytical abilities
  • Experience in the Cryptocurrency and/or FinTech industries not required but strongly preferred
