POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • The Private Wealth Director will represent PIMCO to the largest and most sophisticated clients across the traditional wealth platform and RIA communities in the state of Florida, covering:
    • Private Wealth Advisors within PIMCO’s four major wirehouse platform partners: Morgan Stanley, Merrill Lynch, UBS, and Wells Fargo Advisors in Florida
    • RIAs, typically with a minimum $750mm discretionary AUM in Florida
  • Work directly with Private Wealth Advisors in their own market (Florida) and also partner with Field Account Managers in adjacent/non-endemic markets in the Southeast United States to pursue opportunities within the Private Wealth community as a Private Wealth specialist
  • Cover the full breadth and depth of the PIMCO platform, marketing all solutions to allocators, including Mutual Funds, ETFs, Closed End Funds, Interval Funds, and private alternative investment vehicles
  • Demonstrate exceptional capital markets aptitude and be capable of delivering PIMCO’s top-down global macro approach with fluency
  • Report frequently to PIMCO US GWM Leadership in close collaboration with:
    • US GWM Field Sales’ South Central Divisional Sales Manager
    • Southeast Field Account Managers
    • Private Wealth Director colleagues
    • PIMCO Portfolio Managers and Product Strategists
    • External Centers of Influence at partner firms
  • Demonstrate the ability to marshal internal resources and effectively use technology to create scale and impact across clients

 

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Series 7 and 63 licenses required
  • Minimum 10 years covering wirehouse Private Wealth and/or RIA platforms in Florida
  • CFA and/or MBA a plus

  • Superior interpersonal and communication skills required to create meaningful and long-term relationships

  • Thorough knowledge of PIMCO products and ability to present them in a consultative manner based on client needs
  • Excellent partnership skills

 

PIMCO follows a total compensation approach when rewarding employees which includes a base salary and a discretionary bonus. Base salary is the fixed component of compensation that is determined by core job responsibilities, relevant experience, internal level, and market factors. The discretionary bonus is used to award performance and therefore is determined by company, business, team, and individual performance.
