The Technology Department at Dimensional leverages the rapidly evolving state of the art to engineer the platforms that power the innovative, research-driven financial and technical products to improve our client’s financial lives.

This Senior Manager role supporting Client Systems is a high visibility leadership role with responsibility for the Sites & Tools, Sales Automation & Reporting and Data Distribution technology teams. They will be responsible for the design, development, delivery, and ongoing support of several technology platforms and solutions in support of the Global Client Group, Marketing department and other cross-functional initiatives.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and drive the product and service roadmap for the Global Client Group and Marketing departments

  • Influence and drive complex conversations with executives and senior leaders

  • Own the relationship between the Technology department and the Global Client Group and Marketing departments

  • Work with the business to understand current business and customer processes and look for opportunities to leverage technology solutions and increase automation

  • Drive technology strategy and implementation for products and services supporting Sales & Marketing

  • Lead teams of software engineers and coach engineering managers through the design and adoption of standard patterns and best practices

  • Lead, mentor, and coach a team of business analyst managers

  • Manage vendor relationships, software license and consultant contracts and monitor associated financial commitments

  • Collaborate with the Sr. Management team to evolve technology services to better meet the holistic needs of the business today and into the future, assist in trade-off decisions and team dynamics

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a technical field such as Computer Engineering, Computer Science, etc.

  • 10+ years of relevant work experience driving technical product management, business analysis, engineering management and operations efforts

  • Prior experience as a software engineer / engineering manager

  • Prior experience in managing an integrated Sales and Marketing tech stack and digital presence/strategy (CRM, CMS, DAM, search, tools, reporting, e-mail, etc.)

  • Prior experience with project management, quality assurance and operations

  • Strong understanding of software design and engineering methods, practices and patterns

  • Strong understanding of Agile software development and the ability to lead cross-functional distributed teams to provide successful outcomes

  • Proven track record building, leading, and developing high-performing distributed teams

  • Continuous learner and independent thinker who can work collaboratively with others

  • Prior experience managing multiple vendors, contract and associated financial commitments

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Industry-recognized certifications such as Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP), Project Management Professional (PMP), CFA etc.

  • Experience managing large, complex software implementations and systems integrations in hybrid environments

  • Experience transitioning solutions from on-prem to the public cloud

  • Experience leveraging AWS and Azure cloud services to solve business problems
