About this role

Job Purpose/Background:

The successful candidate will join the ETF and Index Investments (EII) Global Product Executive Team, reporting to the Head of Strategy and COO for EII Global Product. The individual will engage in all steps of our strategic product initiatives from idea generation, project planning, implementation and presentation of final deliverables. The individual will work closely with EII’s regional business teams, including the US, EMEA, and APAC, as well as across various product segments (i.e. fixed income, sustainable, factors, etc.) The candidate will leverage relationships among other iShares/BlackRock partners across the organization to successfully drive our strategic priorities. You will have the opportunity to develop strategy and execute on transformative initiatives spanning different index products and priorities including sustainability and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Help drive projects from start to finish through development of project plans, collaboration with project team members and development of final deliverable (oftentimes in PPT presentation or Word memo form)
  • Conduct independent research to inform our strategic priorities
  • Assist in organization and management of project teams through setting and managing meetings, tracking milestones and deliverables, communicating through oral presentations and written documents, and thinking critically about opportunities and risks
  • Create presentations and memos to communicate plans, progress and final findings/deliverable
  • Key contributor to progress global and regional product priorities
  • Conduct economic analysis across different scenarios incorporating insights from multiple stakeholders across BlackRock


  • University Degree
  • 4-6 years driving strategy, business management or project management in a complex environment
  • Proven track record of problem-solving and project management/organization
  • Ability to analyze large quantities of data
  • Ability to convey key messages / strong writing skills
  • Experience in financial industry / asset management / data management


  • Enterprise management and ability to influence stakeholders
  • Attention to detail and ability to pick up & digest new information quickly
  • Good communication skills, including written and presentation skills
  • Highly organized and able to adhere to tight deadlines
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment and manage a variety of stakeholders
  • Proven track record operating in a fast-paced environment
  • Sense of initiative and enthusiasm to join a key growth segment of the BlackRock’s business
