TT Capital Partners (TTCP) seeks to expand its team by adding a Vice President investing professional (Partner-track) to join our Minneapolis office in Q2 or Q3 2021. This is an exciting opportunity to join a small team and growing healthcare investment platform with over $600 million of assets under management. This professional will have the opportunity to represent TTCP in the market for deal sourcing, play the project team lead role on analyzing new investment opportunities, prepare for and present to the investment committee and play an active role in post-investment portfolio management.

Responsibilities:

  • Proactively develop thematic areas and cultivate relationships with entrepreneurs to drive proprietary investment opportunities
  • Cultivate and grow a network of investment bankers, lenders, and peers at other PE firms
  • Develop clear, concise and comprehensive investment packages
  • Lead financial projection analysis and develops approaches to sensitize economic models
  • Manage the due diligence process for new investments including the management of outside accountants, lawyers and consultants
  • Negotiate acquisition, equity, debt, employment, and related transaction agreements
  • Participate in the formulation and execution of the investment value creation plan
  • Collaborate with portfolio companies at the board level on ongoing strategic initiatives, including M&A, budgeting, exit planning, and other value creation initiatives
  • Provide oversight and mentorship to Associates, assisting in the recruitment and development of new talent

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or MBA degree with strong academic achievement
  • 4-6+ years of relevant investment banking and private equity experience
  • Strong financial acumen with extensive financial modeling and valuation skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong work ethic; genuine passion for excellence; results- and detail-oriented
  • Healthcare industry experience preferred but not required
  • Portfolio management experience
  • Private equity due diligence experience including management of third-party providers
