The Raymond James Tech & Services team is a leading technology and services practice for middle market clients. We closed 50+ advisory deals in 2020 and continue to grow in the FinTech, Application Software, Information Services, IT Services & Outsourced Solutions and Infrastructure sectors.

We are looking to add to our team in our Boston & Atlanta offices and seek individuals who excel at balancing multiple work streams, are able to work with a high level of autonomy in leading and managing deal teams on M&A transactions and can support new business development in a fast-paced, highly demanding work environment.

Job Summary:

Play an integral role on the Technology & Services Investment Banking team, serving as a point person for the internal deal team as well as client and investor interactions. Work closely with junior bankers in a supervisory and leadership role and with senior bankers as a primary support resource for day-to-day client coverage and business development efforts.

• MBA plus 3-4 years in investment banking or 5+ years of investment banking or similar experience; sell-side M&A experience is strongly preferred
• Demonstrate a strong personal and work ethic – be dependable, follow through on assignments and work well with people of all backgrounds
• Have strong quantitative/analytical skills and able to share expertise in financial modeling and supervise the preparation of client work product
• Demonstrate flexibility and an ability to organize, prioritize and manage multiple detailed tasks and assignments
• Lead and assist teams of junior bankers while managing the expectations and needs of senior bankers
• Be able to work independently with strong attention to detail and excel in producing high quality deliverables in a time-sensitive environment
• Communicate effectively and confidently, both orally and in writing, with all organizational levels, including senior client executives and managing partners
• Be committed to building a career in investment banking
• Experience in technology sectors is preferred but not required
• FINRA licenses SIE, 7 or 79 and 63 required or must be obtained shortly after hire
